Friends

I think that life is complicated. Most of the confusion in this world comes from interactions with other people. Friends can make your life better or worse, especially when they are a person that you like more than a friend, but they don't share your feelings. What does it mean to be a friend? What makes you more than a friend?

Jesus Christ

This post is to say that there is only one way to enter the kingdom of God (heaven). To enter heaven, you must confess your sins to Jesus Christ, and you must believe that he died on the cross for you. Believe that Jesus paid the price for all your sins and faults, and that he is coming again. Know that he loves you for who you are. He does not love you for what you have done, or what you will become. He loves you unconditionally. Please read the New Testament in the NIV version of the Holy Bible if you are unsure what to do.

Pain

Everyone experiences pain. Some more so than others while some barely ever have to feel hurt. I pray that people will understand that sometimes pain can help. As long as they do not let it control them. Understand that the good God above still loves you and watches everything that occurs in this world. Maybe the only description I can give is simply listen to The Broken Heart of God by Matt Black. This might relieve some of you of your hate. Personally I could care less if anyone criticizes this blog, but if it helps one person in their life, then this has been worth it.

Relationships

To anyone reading this, I pray that you think long and hard about what I am going to type. Life is in vain unless you live for others. Living for yourself is a waste of time and effort. Nothing good can come from living for yourself, and you will simply die one day and realize your mistake. The only thing that can continue into heaven with you is your relationships with others. Friendships do not end fruitless, family will not leave you feeling famished, and a loving spouse will deter hostile situations. What good will money or distractions (entertainment) do for your life? Make you happy? Happiness comes from the heart. I believe that the purpose of life is to love and be loved in healthy relationships. As a christian, I believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God. The confession of your sins, and the acceptance of his forgiveness is the first step to heaven. This is the most important relationship you can have in your life, and it fits my definition for the meaning of life. All other relationships can follow after Christ. Friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, family, and any other person in your life has a soul that needs to be saved. If you truly love them, then you will share his love to everyone around you. This is the meaning of life, relationships.

Love

I have been dating this amazing girl who I have known for almost 8 years. I can safely say that she is my dream girl, yet I foolishly overlooked her for this many years because I am a dingus. It is like looking for your glasses while they are on your forehead. You can't see without them, and you cannot find them because you can't feel them when you always have them on. Thankfully, she has been a constant friend, and has put up with all my shenanigans. Now that I have finally found my glasses, I cannot help but say how much I care for her. I know everyone says that love is a feeling, but I believe it is an action. Patience, compliments, loyalty, and a constant source of encouragement is what I find love should be. And as one of my best friends for many years, she has always been patient, kind, and encouraging to me. After dating her, I find that I have learned what love really is. Even though I believe that I am one of the worst boyfriends in the world... I pray that she still loves me.

Another Day of Depression

Disclaimer, none of this is based on research. Rather it is based on personal observations, beliefs, and experience throughout my personal life. Now, on to the topic at hand. I cannot help but believe that depression is running rampant within our school systems today. Last year's graduating class has already lost an alumni to suicide, and I find it hard to believe that no one notices the lingering oppression within schools. Everyone is having basically the same day on repeat. Same classes, same schedules, same people day in and day out. I have to ask the question why wouldn't people be depressed in these situations? I will admit, school is not the only culprit for our mental instability. Social media, home life, and other environmental factors are definitely a strong cause for depression too. Nonetheless, I insist on school systems because students go there five days a week for almost eight hours a day. It could possibly be the most contributing factor to depression in students today. Maybe students would enjoy life more if they had a better purpose to live for. The only reason education is luring is the opportunities for a better life, but for those blessed with a good life already, this seems somehow less appealing. As a religious person myself, I believe that implementing some moral, foundational beliefs back into the school system could possibly relieve our schools of some troubles. I suppose that this will be another post for nothing... unless, one person is willing to at least read my thoughts, then it will not be for nothing. Thank you in advance for whoever reads this. I pray it is not my mother snooping online for what I am doing writing this late at night.

Common Thoughts (School)

Tomorrow is the first day of my second semester for high school, so I am starting the end of senior year. Halfway through the year, I have started to reflect on how I have changed over the course of my high school career. The first thoughts are my physical appearance. I am now able to grow a more than substantial amount of facial hair compared to my freshman year. Other thoughts are about my friends. Although I try to remain cordial to everyone while maintaining neutrality during drama, I cannot help but notice the change in the people I prefer to hang out with. I recollect my mom's words in middle school, "Your friends in middle school will not be your friends in high school." Surprisingly, my years in high school have progressively gotten better, even though friendships have changed. I know everyone's high school career is different, so I cannot speak for everyone, but I realized quickly that my senior year is by far the best year of high school. With these thoughts in mind, what can people say about their high school careers, and how they have affected them over the years?
